When I activate it, the drain socket comes on for the selected time, however, if I take the sensors out of the water, the drain socket stays on for the duration and then I get a level alarm.

I can't get the fill to work at all.

    Change to the following:

    Socket Functions
    S18 - Fill Water 1 (ATO Only) 1
    S19 - Fill Water 1 (AWC Only) 1
    S20 - Drain Water 1

    Level
*Change Control Circuit to "Not Active"
    Sensor 1 - Reaction time "1s"

Save your settings and please try again.

Your max on time in the first screen shot is 30 seconds, this should be the amount of time a complete water change takes. Water change #2 uses the same sensors and isn't necessary.

ETA: This in addition to Vinny's remarks.

The settings will work with two optical sensors.

These steps assume you are using the Level 1/2 port with a splitter.

If that is not the case and you are using one sensor in Level 1/2 and another sensor in Level 3/4, then you need to go to "Control Circuit 1" and change "Used sensors for this control" on "Sensor 2" to 3. That screen should look like this.

    Vinny,
In the screenshot the max on time is 45 seconds, I thought this had to be the max time of water change. Could you clarify what this setting is exactly?
