Cannot update P3 to latest firmware

I have tried many different combinations of firmware for the P3 6.18. 6.22 and GCC down to 1.0.7.2, back up to GCC 1.0.7.7.
The only sensors I can get to display on the sensor page are PH1, Temp 1 and Temp 2.
Configuration setting for the expansion box is always greyed out, not available to access.
I really don't care about my sensor history or setting history.
Is there a way I can start over again? Flash, erase or whatever.
Simple update should not be this difficult.

I am happy to update that my Profilux system is up and running again on GCC 1.0.7.7, the P3 is updated to firmware 6.22.

The steps I followed are
Downgraded to GCC 1.0.7.2, P3 firmware upgraded to 6.22
Replaced old expansion box with newer expansion box
Reassigned PAB device (newer expansion box only at this time)
Configuration of newer expansion box was now available, so added probes that were unchecked
Added old expansion box to daisy chain, assigned old expansion box, configured probes
Added 6D powerbar and Touch to daisy chain
Un-assigned all PAB devices, disconnect P3
Reconnect P3 via serial, re-assign all PAB devices.
All probes are displaying on GCC again.

The biggest difference started when I replaced the old expansion box with the newer one. Everything seemed to go smoothly from there.
