I have a Mitras 6100 that has a message on the main screen and GHL Control Center program that tells me it "is a demo unit and not for resale".

hm, first of all this seems to be a lamp which was not intended for resale, the demo lamps are - as the name says - for demonstration in stores, for that purpose they are sold at a special price
so it should not have been sold to you in the first place
I am curious what the source for this lamp was
