Cloud simulation question
Hi,
I'm setting-up cloud simulation function, and I'm trying to find a realistic number for 'cloud probability' field, and my question is:
What 'time slice' is the software in Profilux using between each 'roll of dice' for determining if will be a cloud or not?? ( I'm trying to know how many time passes between every probability check)
The reason is that if, for example, the software 'checks' every minute, then if I set the probability to 10% on 'cloud probability' field, on average, it will simulate a cloud every 10 minutes, but if the software 'checks' every 30 seconds, then setting the same 10% will, on average, simulate a cloud every 5 minutes...and so on...
I don't know if I managed to make it clear or meaningful....
thank you for your help !!!

that all is complete randomly, there are no fixed time slices
if there is a cloud or not is determined each second, you can only adjust the probability

Ok,
So I understand a fairly low prob. value ( less than 1% ) will be fine for simulating sunny conditions with some few scattered clouds..
Thank you very much for your quick reply
