Windows 10

Just noticed an upgrade for my computer to windows 10 from 8.1.
Im a little leery to do so, as every thing is running the smooth.
If anyone can advise?
BTW I'm perfectly happy running 8.1 and do not need to update as I have a dedicated computer for the tank.

Have in mind: This is an offer from Microsoft, not a mandatory update.
Even if it´s pushy, it´s up to you to accept the offer - or not.

Advise what? It´s up to you to accept or decline the offer.

So what´s the problem? There is no need to update if you don´t want to.


Additional info: There are also guidelines how to remove the penetrant update info - but this isn´t target of this forum.

Let me be more specific then. Will my Profilux still work? Will your software still work on windows 10?
Can I still get new FW on this new format or not?
I realize it's optional, and at this point everything is running fine. But if I update and my Profilux doesn't work on this particular format, it's not worth the update then. This is what I'm asking.....

For sure. The PL needs no PC to work (only to set it up)

Will your software still work on windows 10?

It´s not mine - I´m not GHL staff ... however I updated one of my PCs (Notebook) - no problem at all.

If you decline the unnecessary online stuff (cloud & cortana) and the [in my eyes ugly] tile design it´s similar to Win7.
The GHL Control center is working as before (no new installation).

Ok, thanks. As long as everything still works, that was my main concern.

Just so anybody else was wondering, everything seems to be running fine on win10. Control centre seems to be running just as before, even updated my P3 to 6.18 with no problems. If I find anything different, or have any problems Ill post.

PLC is running under windows 10 however far from stable (particular over wireless LAN)...
there appear to be difference in stability between 64 or 32 bit versions!
In download section the OS choose is not updated with Win10...

Having connection issues as well. At first it seemed to be fine, but now...cant seen to connect with RJ45, only with USB.
