Configureing ATI Hybrid with Profilux 3

Hi all,

Ive picked up an ATI Hybrid 48" which come with its own control box.
I understand i can instead hook this up to my Profilux and control the light settings from there instead.
However I cant find any instructions , FAQ that can show a newbie like myself what i need to do.

If somebody has done this before and would kindly share some instructions it would be appreciated.

Hi,

It may not be possible to control the ATI Hybrid with the Profilux due to the unknown wiring schematics. Profilux can control a light with a dimmable ballast, but in the case of the Hybrid, you would have to open it up, find the correct wires, connect it to EVG AP-2F, then to the Profilux. Because ATI has their own software to run their LED and T5, doing such modifications can void your warranty with ATI and leave you with a pretty big DIY project.

Before performing any kind of modifications, I recommend contacting ATI and ask if their light can be modified to function with 3rd party controllers. You do run the chance of loosing the functionally of the ATI lighting software, loose the option to do firmware updates on the light which could improve the efficiency of the LEDs, run the risk of voiding ATI warranty, and possibly have a mess of wires coming from the light.

For example, maybe you have to open up the black cable going to the control box to expose the necessary wires. That's something best left for ATI to answer.
