Are you using email (profilux) or email (pc) - which option?
If you can get on the p3 remotely, the email profilux should work, since it can see/access the network.

I don't thnk it's the ISP. (In any case, I have comcast) - you gotta make sure you have the right settings. For yahoo, domain server should be smtp.mail.yahoo.com - use mailserver...
