hello ive had a p3 ex for just over a year and i havent upgraded the firmware from v 502g but i decided to do it ...... to the 507 version

but when i did i lost all conteol of lights pumps etc im...

every time i try to connect to the profilux 3 via the usb i get the error 28 but i get no error over my lan i have tried 2 different pcs with the same result

and i cannot update the...

i have tryed countless times to connect to my profilux 3 fw 5.0.1 xx

but keep getting error 28 and id like to update it to a later version ...can i can connect via the lan but you cat up date fiw...

after upgrading to the new f/w my p3ex has stoped controlling my 2 heaters on a pab bar sockets 1,2 have searched on the pab settings and the unit found the bar fine .... manual control...

i have a suspition that the simul -l needs to be in either l1-2 or l3-4 but the aquray can be in any i have mine in the expansion card

my set up is like this

i havw a 3ex whie an extra l4 module and and extra redox module (not part of this solution but for info only)

i have 4 aquarays connected to the expansion...

i did not change anything the only thing that changed between the 2 tests was i upgraded the firmware to the very laest

i couldnt get that to work no water movement at all can you please post some simple instuctions
also can you confirm the compatability of the wave box

ok thank you for your speed of reply

i will try it tonight

and it sucks and blows ? ie the pump runs forwards then backwards

as i dont want to damage the wave box or the p3ex for that...

ok but can you confirm that the nano wave box will work correctly as it runs blowing for 0.xx seconds and then sucks for 0.xx seconds this needs to be in hundreths of a second other wise the wave...

as yet its not connected i got a wave box connection kit wich is 1 x y splitter and 1 each tunze 1 and 2 cables

theres no instructions on how to set this up

by doing that does the pump run in each direction for a very short time as it needs to be set in .01 of seconds to create the wave?

i have a nano wave box and a wave box kit but im unsure ho to control this from the p3ex

gradually rewiring the tank now

ok found an old pc with a serial port and have up graded to 5m i hope all futher f/w loads will be via usb or lan as i had to take the unit into work to flash it


now i cant get the pab power...

i have the proficontrol 5.0.09 i have 2 lap tops one vist 64 bit...

and lots of extra goodies
so stand by for the dumb questions after i have picked it up next week
