We know that some USB-RS232-converters are just not working with every hardware, that makes it sometimes not easy for us to give support when connection problems...

dr.dotti is right - the Flash FR update tool works only on the RS232 port
try the recovery on another PC which has RS232 or use a USB-RS232 converter (some converters are really bad - converters...
