which BT are you using ?
and are you sure you saved your settings before testing everytime ( with our without authentication )?
I tested again on my P3 today and if I enable authentication >...
in this case you should not use authentication on the profilux either remove the tick box
because it will not send it if its not needed.
anway I need to get up early so I'm off to bed :)
if you make the screens you can always test the smtp by a telnet ( too verify connectifity ) ( its from your pc but still it helps debugging )
assuming you run windows
in a dos prompt enter ...
probably best to make screenshots of your profilux email config and you plc email config
too rule out obvious errors.
don't try with google or something its a big nono
its easy to test with a simple email client
are you sure you email provider allows non encrypted smtp mail out messages ?
I'm using a domain
But with a successfull config the smtp server field gets the ip of the last time it used it .
when it didn't work the smtp field only flashed briefly and then went back to...
dunno if it helps but I also struggled along time to get the email to function =>
In a special case you might have the same issue I had. (using authentication while you shouldn't be doing it )

I believe that Yahoo only allows encrypted email connections (or its your ISP that blocks port 25 ) => unfortunatly the profilux can't make encrypted connections.
you will have to find an email...
