Newbie! Totally confused

Hello
Purchased a used aquarium and the guy gave me a bunch of extras including a Profilux Plus 2. But I have no idea how to use it, or how to even plug things in. I looked on the forum and have to say I'm totally confused as to how this thing works. Can someone guide me to a setup for dummies please?
