GHL Connect problem with iPhone

I need some help, or at least pointed in the right direction. I downloaded the GHL Connect app to my iPhone....it works perfect when I’m at home on my home WiFi network, but when I’m away from home it won’t connect. I get a pop up that says failed to connect unable to connect multiple devices....or something like that. Do I have something set wrong? Please help, the main purpose of this app for me is the ability to make changes when I’m away from home. Please help me in layman’s terms....I’m no computer programmer... lol thanks.

GHL Connect is used when you are within the range of your WiFi network. If you want to use the app OUTSIDE of your network, you need to setup port forwarding on your router.

For external connections, we recommend using myGHL.

I have 2 apps on my iPhone....GHL Connect and GHL Control. Those are the only 2 I could find for my phone. Will either of those work outside my network?

Uninstall GHL Control as that app is now obsolete.

As mentioned above, yes, it's possible if you are comfortable with port forwarding.
