Probes location

Hi,

Could you please tell me where is the best place in a sump to locate the 4 probes for the Profilux 4?

Is there any requirement to separate or isolate the probe cables from other electricity cables (skimmer, heater, etc).. which is the minimum distance between signal cables and electricity cables?

Hello Oscar,

Ideally the probes should be kept in an area that does not get exposure to micro bubbles. This can be in the return pump section of your sump if your water level remains consistent during normal operation. The probe cables should not be run alongside power cables as there may be electrical noise which can interfere with the probes accuracy.

Thanks for your response @Vinny I will relocate to the return pump section. Nowadays are located in the skimmer compartment, there is no bubbles inside but I prefer to assure!
