Was thinking about getting this expansion card for 2 reasons:
1) 2nd ORP probe to monitor sulfur reactor
Does the GHL Redox probe measure negative values?
2) Extra level sensor
Have the mechanical and optical level sensors, but can’t seem to program them to work
together.
To 1: The measurement range of the ORP probe is from -1000mV to 1000mV
To 2: What exactly do you want to do and at which point do you have problems?
1) Need a 2nd ORP probe for a sulfur reactor. Read -100 to -250 is preferable.
2) Wish to run optical and mechanical float switches at the same time for auto top off. The mechanical would be secondary. I was told this is not possible.
1: This is inside of the measure range, so this will work
2: Yes, it is possible to use both types together. For the ProfiLux it does not matter which type is connected.
How do your use both types at the same time? Any programming examples?
The use of both sensors to register the same water level is called ATO w/ 2 sensors in the ProfiLux.
