Newsletter and GDPR

Hi,

The EU has taken another step forward in its efforts to further complicate life for small and medium-sized companies in the name of "privacy protection".

The bureaucracy monster "GDPR" with draconian punishments - which can drive small companies into ruin - is valid now.
Surely many lawyers had been looking forward for that.

It will not affect the real data collectors like FB, Google, etc., which can afford lawyers in dozens and any penalties.
Or they just relocate their business.

We too had to react and, among other things, revised our newsletter registration.

The registration was further complicated (in addition to Double-Opt-In now also explicit editing of their own user profile necessary), all previous subscribers who have not explicitly agreed to further emails, no longer receive a newsletter.
We informed about this in our last newsletter on May 24, 2018.

2) Who did not receive a newsletter:
a) You are already registered: then a short email to sales@ghl-kl.de, "yes, I would like to receive the GHL Newsletter" is enough
b) You are not registered: then subscribe at https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/ (see bottom of page)
