Oxygen probe for a freshwater aquarium

Hi all,
this might be a very naive question: does the oxygen probe have any value in a highly planted freshwater aquarium? Would there be any instances where O2 measurement could give me some important actionable feedback? Just wondering if worth adding to other probes when now buying the GHL setup or would this one be of limited use in a freshwater setting?

Adding an O2 probe and expansion card will give you more insight on how that parameter changes throughout the day. It would also be useful because the ProfiLux can notify you if the desired O2 level has fallen below a certain threshold.
