Profilux 4 can control the on/off reaction of the Calcium Reactor solenoid. You would need to have a pH probe inserted into the main reactor chamber and solenoid connected to a powerbar outlet.
Hi are there a guide to set it up?
1. Go to pH probe settings, set desired pH level
2. Go to switch channels page, select socket where solenoid is connected, set function to pH decrease
3. Save settings
I guess that means, I won’t be able to monitor ph level in the actual fish tank, correct?
you need a second ph probe
Connected to what?
connected to a p4 or an expansioncard in a p3
I thought that calcium reactor probe would be connected to the P4
the p4 can handle 2 ph probes
Don’t understand.
I thought there is only one port in P4 for Ph probe, and if it’s used for calcium reactor, then where the second one to monitor fish tank connects to?
the p4 hase two ports for ph or redox. if both ports are in use you have to buy an expansioncard like a new pci card in a computer.
As mentioned above, the pH and Redox ports on the ProfiLux can be switched to pH or Redox. If you are not going to use the Redox port, you can switch it to pH mode and connect the 2nd probe to this port.
Thx for the explanation
Also I’d like to hook up my Kh director to control my calcium reactor
How do I do this?
