P4 Alarming
Hi
Can you explain this alarm I get occasionally, I hear an audible alarm and email is sent.
Within a few minutes everything is back to normal.
This is the content of email;
Alarm 000: Alarm: Temp 1 Heater
Temperature 1 : 40.0C
pH-value 1 : 8.13pH
Redox 1 : 398mV
Conduct.(S) 1 : 1.0178
Whinin a few minutes all is well and figures are;
Temperature 1 : 25.3C
pH-value 1 : 8.13pH
Redox 1 : 440mV
Conduct.(S) 1 : 1.0243

You don't have the probe too close to the heater?

No, the probe is 2 sump chambers before heater.

Another suggestion... You don't have any power cables running too close to the probe cable that you think can interfear? Thinking it should be somthing that swiches on and off in this case, since you just get that reading for a short while. Just guesses from me, but hope it can help trouble shooting. Or maybe stray current (from the heater or something else)

thanks for reply but i have no power cables near the probes that could cause the problem.

This error should occur only if the actual temperature repeatedly could not be read and triggers an alarm.
From our experience this is often caused by electromagnetic disturbances, e.g. pumps.
Try to isolate the temp-probe cabling from possible disturbers.
