Mitras lx7 - Fans loud as F…

Have just replaced my old mitras lx6 lamps with brand new lx7's

can understand it is normal that they get so hot that you can not touch them (above 60 degrees Celsius) but it results in the fans running at max.
When the fans run at more than 50% they make so much noise that I can hear them throughout my living room. My old lx6 lamps said absolutely nothing.
In addition, they get so hot that they have already after the first day destroyed my light box which I have built of acrylic, it has become completely deformed due to the heat.

Can it really be true that the fans are so bad and make so much noise?
I'm very disappointed and do not know what to do about it.

How "loud" something is will vary from person to person. In general the LX7 fans are super quiet and cannot be heard even when standing in front of the fixture. What's you're describing is not the normal performance of the LX7 fans. Open a support ticket and provide specific details if you haven't done so already.
