PLC: check for software updates

I would like PLC to have the option "check for software updates" somewhere in the menu. (like: ?/check for software updates).

It could do the update or just inform that there is a new version out there.

The same for profilux, PAB, expansion boxes: PLC can see the model (Profilux) and the version so maybe it could inform us for a new version when available.

This would be a nice feature but I doubt it will happen.

Like you said just "informing" us of a new version would be enough for me. I now manually check a couple of times a week.
