Problems in connecting GHL control to laptop

Dear all,

I am having problems connecting my laptop to GHL control, i.e. my laptop (toshiba SATELLITE CLICK MINI L9W-B) does not recognise the profilux device when I plug it through the mini-USB or USB port.

The laptop has the option to connected via a "normal" USB port or just connect (via micro- USB) the detachable screen and "use it" as a Tablet.

I have check GHL control version as well as the profilux device firmware, and everything is ok.

Laptop specifications:
Intel Atom CPU Z3735F processor (1.33 Ghz)
2 Gb RAM
Windows 10

Could anyone give be some helpful suggestions in order to solve this issue?
