Unable to connect Doser 2.1 to wifi

I've been struggling trying to connect this brand new doser to my network - I've read every manual I can find, watched several videos, read a dozen different forum posts, and reinstalled the firmware (version 1.35) but it will not connect. It won't connect to my regular dual band network, or the network I made specifically for it (2.4ghz WPAP2PSK / AES).

Also, when I press "Search WiFi..." not a single network is found which surprises me since there's at least two dozen in my area.

It has no problem connecting to my PC via USB, or through my phone as an access point. Any thoughts?


Solved: at the very bottom of the instructions it notes your computer must be connected to the same wifi network - my PC was connected via ethernet.
