Count for fleece filter

I have a fleece filter. Unfortunately, it doesn't have its own application, but I really want to know how much clean fleece I have left in the roll right now. To do this I need some kind of signal counter, ideally with a treshold warning. I can send any variant of the signal to the profilux 4 input.
Can I do this now with the GHL PLM-RS232 or another board for example?

with a PLM-ADIN card you have 2 0-10v inputs. You can then view the level and set an alarm.
