Migrating from Doser 2.1 control to Profilux 4

Hi,

I have a new KH Director and 2.1 Standalone doser but haven't set it up yet as I'm waiting for deliver of a Profilux 4. Delivery may take a week or more but I'm eager to get the KHD setup and testing. If I do setup the KHD with the 2.1 as master will I need to go through the setup/calibration etc process again when I change the master to the Profilux? Can I export settings from the 2.1 standalone and import into the Profilux 4?

Hi there,

You would not be able to upload D2.1 SA settings onto the ProfiLux because these are two different products with very different hardware.

You can however mimic the settings from the D2.1 to the ProfiLux by connecting to both devices simultaneously through GHL Control Center. This way, you can copy over the pump calibration info and KHD settings onto the ProfiLux. After you've copied those settings, set the doser to SLAVE mode and press SAVE. Once that is done, you can go ahead and assign the doser to the ProfiLux by following the steps shown here:
