problem connectiing doser 2 via wifi

I have no problem connecting the doser via usb but i cannot set up via wifi i have tried many times using the settings supplied in the extended manual and still nothing ??

Can you show me a screenshot of your wifi settings?

You should remove your personal data like wifi key from screenshot.

I see you have wrong settings, let’s do it step by step:

1. Change from “Access point mode” to “Client mode”
2. Enter the SSID of your router, SSID is the name of your wireless network. (http://www.wikihow.com/Find-the-SSID-on-a-Computer)
3. Choose WPA2PSK for “Encryption” and for “Encryption type” AES. (This depends on your router settings, you can check it in the router interface)
4. Enter the Key of your wireless network, you find the key on the backside of your router or in the router interface.
5. Select “Use following settings” under IP Settings
6. Enter a “IP address”, “Subnet mask” and Default gateway”.
Before you can enter an IP address you have to know what your default gateway is.
To find out what your default gateway and subnet mask is, follow this instruction: http://www.noip.com/support/knowledg...fault-gateway/

Step 1: Click the “Start” button, type ‘cmd’ and press “Enter” on your keyboard. (A black Command Prompt should appear).
Step 2: Next type ‘ipconfig’ and press enter “Enter”.

Enter the default gateway and subnet mask displayed in the command prompt.
You have also to enter the IP address of doser, this looks like the default gateway IP address except the last number.
e.g. If your default gateway is 192.168.1.0 you can enter an IP address between 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.254
It is recommended to choose a number bigger than 200.
7. Click the save button and wait at least 5 minutes, the doser needs few minutes to connect to your network.

When you done, go to "Administrate..." in the top menu of the GHL Control Center and create a new TCP/IP connection.
Enter the IP address you entered in step 6 above as Host-Name.

Hi im also having the same problem used a few differant setting but cannot get a wifi connection to the doser or connect with the android app keep getting connection failed.

did you tried an another IP address? Maybe an another device have the IP address 192.168.0.222.
Are you sure your wifi use WPA2 and AES as Encryption?

Some router have the option to prevent communication between wifi devices. Please check this option in your router, it should be disabled.

Ok it seems the Doser is connected with your network.
Go to "Administrate..." in GHL Control Center, click New and select the GHL Doser 2:

click Save and connect with the Doser with this new connection.

Thanks seems to be working via the computer with wifi and usb disconnected but still not on my phone.

Do you use the IP adress 192.168.0.222 as Host?
Your phone must be connected with the same wifi network like the Doser.

That helped me also a lot. But I am at that point now, that the App will not connect to the Doser.
I am in the same network with everything. The computer will connect via IP and Wlan to the Doser, but the same setting do not work on my iPad or iPhone. Is there something I am missing out?

At the moment there is no app for iphone and ipad.

now it is getting clearer. I thought I have to use the profilux app. I thought it must be available as iOS as you have it on all the advertising. It is clearly an iPad on the pictures. When do you expect to have the app for iOS?

We expect a release in January 2015.

please try this:
1. Change the Encryption type to "AES" in the W-LAN/ LAN settings and click the Save button. Wait at least 5 minutes.
2. Open the command prompt like in your first picture and enter "ping 192.168.1.220" and show me a screenshot of the command prompt.

One thing you can try, restart the doser (unplug power cable for few seconds and plug in again).
Wait at least 5 minutes and do the 2. step from my post above.
