Right after taking me till this morning 2am to figure out that I have to update the vortech controller through the PAB update I have finally got it up and running and gives me firmware 1.01 rf 1.02 and interface 1.02. I updated the ecosmart firmware via the controller to 1.06 but it now tells me both pumps are version 2.02 and doesnt give me the status or what type of pump.
Can anyone help, is this correct or do I need to change something?
I am using PLC 5.09 and firmware 5.09
did you try a PAB reset ?
PAG resetting sometimes helps with getting the right FW versions after a flash

Ok so I found out the MP 60's come with firmware 2.01 and the profilux vortech controller just updated them to 2.02 and they are working. What I am now wondering is why the type shows unknown and there is no status?

Try powering off the pumps for a couple of minutes, then reconnect the power to them so the PAB module has to 'look' for them again.

How do you even upgrade your pumps, I've clicked through on the upgrade pumps button but it only sa upgrade to 1.6 not 2.02 and then it takes about 5 min to upgrade and then errors out......

thanks for that, i have one more question. I have all EcoSmart Drivers on my 5 Vortechs but they all show different firmware versions. When i go to update them all i see available to update is 1.06 but on most of my pumps i already have 2.something.... i see in the manual there is 3.01 but that is for WWD (is that the older version of the drivers, i.e not ecosmart???)
This is correct.
The WWD drivers have an other firmware (and firmware version) as the ecosmart drivers
Thanks, so is 1.6 the highest version you can upgrade a ecosmart driver too??
this was our latest information from EcoTech
maybe you ask them if they updated their firmware again recently

Ok guys, I have had an answer from EcoTech...
These are the latest firmware versions
ES pumps are 2.02
W pumps are 3.01
Good to know.
I updated all 3 of my Vortech pumps using my Profilux the other day, no problem at all.
