Mine is brand new as well and again not working :)
for me the same problem with a brand new ADIN Card an the newest firmware .4
I fear this issue is bit larger than I initially thought.
My PLM-ADIn are a bit older and they work fine. I think it is possible that the opto couplers of the newer PLM-ADIN have a different behaviour due to the tolerances, to keep it simple: the new processor of the P4 and the PLM-ADIN don't understand each other, caused by (slightly) different signal levels.
I have to examine this further and will post here as soon as I have results.
Any news on the PLM-ADIN issue.
I apologize that I'm impatient
I think (hope) I finally found after a quite long investigation the reason for this issue. Sorry for the delay, butr this was not an easy one.
I was able to re-produce this effect on several different configurations, but I want to ask our users which had been affected by this to give me some feedback, just to be sure.
Summary:
PLM-ADIN is recognized in the P4 at some customers, at some customers not. If the the PLM-ADIN is not detected (correctly) this may lead to problems with the WiFi.
(Presumed) reason: P3 and P4 work internally with different signal levels, some of the PLM-ADIN use optocoupler brands which work with these levels, others don't.
Although all used optocouplers are the same type (6N137) they seem to show a different behaviour. We found out that the Fairchild 6N137 (black opto coupler) don't work, the 6N137 of an unknown brand (brown optocouplers) work.
Below a photo which illustrates this.
QUESTION:
Can the affected users confirm this?
1. PLM-ADIN with brown optocouplers work
2. PLM-ADIN with black optocouplers don't work

Once we have confirmation that my assumptions are right we produce a new batch of cards and replace the trouble-maker cards.
At the same time I added some precautions in the new 7.05 to avoid interferences with the WiFi when a card is not working properly.

my new card has the black ones and doesn't work in my new P4:

for the wifi, I removed the card now to take the picture, but my wifi connection is also poor in the quality as before with plugged card.

Hi Matthias,
right on the spot. Black on my end and not working.

No change in WiFi after i removed the card. The connection i still poor.
I will open up my P4 tomorrow and remove the card to check on the optocoupler color but my P4 does not recognize the card and my WiFi signal has been very poor since day one.
Edit: Removed ADIM card and it has the black optocouplers. WiFi signal still sucks

Matthias any news on the ADIN cards.
the PLM-ADIN issue (new version of card with black optocouplers) is solved with yesterday's update 7.05
