Updated firmware to the VorTech controller again, now both pumps show as Eco, an improvement of sorts. I'll post back for others if I ever find a solution to this problem.

Do you think first time something went wrong with upgrade? So, now you have one regular and one QD pumps?
Now both are Eco, still no QD...

Now have two QD and the Vortech Controller sees nothing. Re-installed firmware 1.04, the controller was the only PAB device attached for this process. I can't re-install the controller interface since that button is not available, the firmware is already 1.14 and won't allow an overwrite. I've unassigned all PAB devices, reassigned and still I get this:
