Added a contactless level-sensor,need help setting up ATO

Added a contactless level-sensor, plugged it in to the level slot on the back of my P3.
I have timer set as event start.
I have level 1 set to auto top off, timer ATO 3, and reaction time 10s.
I have the socket function set to, S3, timer 3.
I have the sensor set outside the tank and have adjusted the sensor for the red light be on and off at the water level.
Problem is that socket does not turn on at all, so I have done something wrong.
Please help.

for ATO the function of the socket has to be "Water 1".
