I choose for the variable text (state of sockets 1-8)
And i receive that by email
1- 2- 3- 4- 5- 6- 7- 8-
I do not see the state on/off?
Another question:

the bar "-" means socket off, an "X" means on
I don't understand this questionQuote:

How shoud it go off? It´s programmed as 'always on'. In general a switch can´t generate an alarm due it´s an output - you (aka the PL) controls it.Quote:
If the switch 3 is OFF and want an alarm on the PIII and receive a email.
When you lost power, you can´t receive anything (if the PL also lost power).Quote:
When i lost power (electricity) the switch is no more ON.
Can i receive an alarm?
Due a switch is an output, you can´t get an alarm from a normal switch* (there´s normally no feedback from the plug assembly)
* If you have a PAB switch board and newest firmware, it should be possible to check the current value and generate an alarm if it´s too low or too hight (paper description, I haven´t one)
I forgot to say: That´s not true. The switch is still on (if PL has power) but there is no power to go through.Quote:

If you switch on your kitchen light and then you remove the fuse for that light, the switch is still on, but the light is off.
Hello Wirus ,
My Pl, router and modem are on the UPS, but not the power bar digital 6D (PAB).
OK, if i loose electricity for my power bar the yellow communication light shoud be on.
ANd perhasp the green light too?
Just missing how too put an alarm for the high or low voltage. I'm not at home right now and verify that if i can find an option on the PLC software.
Best Regards:D
Sorry, but I´m not shure what happens with a PAB device or with a Powerbar 6D.Quote:

The answer above is only valid for the standard powerbar with 4 pugs.
If PAB/6D digital part part is powered by the powerbar, you will lost communication
If PAB part is bus powered, Communication is still possible and the power may be recognized (or not)
Not shure if it´s possible by now (in any case: a wishful option).Quote:

Anyone from GHL or with that powerbar should answer this.
if the Powerbar-PAB stops working (due to a powercut) ProfiLux reports a PAB communication error = alarm -> email can be sent
