Temp1 probe 30F off

Hello,

I recently installed a Profilux III unit and the water temperature probe (temp1) is reading 30F higher than actual water temperature. I understand that this probe is factory callibrated and shouldn't need field adjustment. Can anyone tell me if adjustment is possible, however, or is this probe simply malfunctioning?

I had the same problem one time check to see if the probe is calibrated for pond or aquarium. (Not in Profilux Control but in the menus of the controller)

as Xiaan mentioned it is possible that you accidentally used the wrong measurement range "Pond" - then set it back to "Aquarium"

or you changed manually the offset (with adjust offset in ProfiLuxControl)

next option: probe is plugged into level port

last idea: probe defective, not very likely
