How to use the dimm socket on the powerbar5.1?

Hello,

you connect with GHL Control Center to your ProfiLux, go to System, select the PowerBar and click the configure button.

Set the dimm channel you wish and the PowerBar reacts to this channel. The dimm channel you set reacts to the illumination channel.
If you set the channel number to 5, the PowerBar reacts to illumination 5.

I'm confused to the dimming method.What's the difference between L-port and dimming socket? I know, the L-port outputs control signal,the dimming socket outputs electric power. Can I use the dimming socket to dimm a T5 or metal halide without 1-10v port ?

Hello,

you need a dimmable electronic ballast for the T5 or metal halide. The dimming socket can be used to dimm dimmable pumps, fans, heater, halogen lamp, etc.
