Hello,
I would like to install Mitras Lightbar products in my saltwater tank but I have some questions :
- it is a closed tank. The distance between the water level and the alumium roof is about 10cms. There is enought place to install the product but what about heat dissipation ? Won't the LED bars be damaged is they get too hot ?
- the tank dimensions are 150cm(L), 70cm (H), 50cm (W). If I install 2 Mitras Lightbar Deep Actinic 140, is it enought ? Currently the illumination is made by 4 T5 54W but it is a little bit too low.

Thanks for your helps.

Hello,

in your enclosure you need an edge on both sides on which you can place your Mitras Lightbar(s).
Between edge and your enclosure, you need min. 30mm space. This is enough.

In order to replace your 4x54W, you would need two Lightbars 140. But if you say that's a bit too low
and regardig your tank dimensions, we rather recommend to better use 3 Lightbars.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer.
I will perhaps try with only 2 bars but I will choose a power supply big enough to power a third bar.
