Hi,

I tried searching and reading all Tunze related posts but am still at a lost as how to set this up.

To make it simple, I am just trying to setup 1 Tunze 6100 pump with Random flow. I plugged the Tunze cable 1 to the L1L2 port on the back of the Profilux Plus II and the other end to the tunze driver box.

I then use the Profilux Control to setup 1-10V interface and set L1 to pump 1 and set from 3V to 8V. I also set 1 pump for group 1 in the Pumps section. Just to test, I set mode to No current and saved. I thought this would turn off the pump but after saving the pump is still on. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the help! Attached is the control screen I have:

any thoughts?

Try to set up the voltage to the original settings 1-10V. This may solve the problem. The driverbox of the Tunze pump will speed up to 100% if no signal is set up, so the setting no current may also be the fault.

changed min to 1V and max to 10V and still the same.

set it back to 3V and 8V otherwise you may get pump bounce

Press load to send the settings to the ProfiLux controller

Do other wave patterns work?

I believe "no current" drops the pump speed to the minimum you have set for that pump rather than turning it off. You can see in your screen shot you have the minimum for pump 1 set to 20% and you can also see the current state of the pump (state) also showing 20%.

Ok, I set it back to 3V to 8V.

I didn't see any noticeable waving pattern that's why I tried setting it to no wave just to see if the pump is being controlled or not.

Can someone please post a screen shot of how their control screen looks? One for the 1-10V settings and one for the current pump setting and perhaps I can just copy some of the settings.

Thanks!

Actually I thought the Save button is used send the settings to the Profilux controller. Maybe that's what I was doing wrong?

What is the difference between the Save and the Load button?

Save: settings from PC-program to ProfiLux
Load: settings from ProfiLux to PC-program (usually is not needed unless a setting has been changed on the device itself, then the displayed settings can be refreshed)

Pump 1 is working now thanks!

Now moving onto the next Tunze pump. I plugged the profilux tunze cable 2 to the L3L4 port on the controller and configured the following two screens but when I click "Save" to send settings to controller, the pump stops completely. If I unplug then the pump is back to full power.

Here're my setup screens, thanks for the help!

Tunze 2 should be on the same socket as Tunze 1

so both sit on L1L2

you split the port using YL2-1 cable

1 x Tunze will react to L1 through Tunze1 cable
the second Tunze must use Tunze 2 cable and will react to L2

if you dont have the spliter leve it on L4-L5 but move the current pump 2 to L5 on the 1-10v inteface

You must move the settings using on L3 to L4 if you use the Tunze L2 cable. Then it will do the job. Have a nice day
