View Full Version : Clouds floating over three lamps
Can anyone please tell me how to make the clouds float over my three lamps, iv read the new manual but do not understand it at all.
I want the cloud to come in on lamp 1, then to lamp 2, then to lamp 3
Assuming you have the lamps set to follow each other (1 master, 2 slaves, etc.) then use the controller software to set the delay under simulation next to the little picture of the cloud. For the master lamp you don't want any delay, but for slave 1 (lamp 2) then set it to your first offset and also slave 2 (lamp 3) to your second offset. I use an offset of 2 seconds for clouds which is really effective during storms when there are lots of short but frequent clouds. Anything too big looks a bit strange to me as cloud cover generally moves quite fast over such short distances.

in this case all Mitras LX are slaves (the ProfiLux with expansion card PLM-PWC is the master), so the delay must be set in all lamps
e.g.
lamp #1 (left) delay = 0s
lamp #2 delay = 3s
lamp #3 (right) delay = 6s
-> within 6s the cloud will move from the left to the right
Got it, working a treat now, thank you for your help.
Just the moonlights to sort lol
