View Full Version : Two different pre-programmed water change sequences?

Hi,

Is it possible to program one water change sequence (using pumps, sensors, doser, etc) then also program another, different, water change sequence using different combinations of sensors, pumps, dosers, etc and using different parameters such as times, triggers, etc?

For example;
- Program 1 would trigger at 7pm on a Wednesday and use 100% of reservoir water and dose x amount of each additive and activate pump1.
- Program 2 would trigger from a wired button/switch (or selection from the Profilux's menu) and use only 50% of reservoir water and dose y amount of each additive and activate pump2.

One possible use might be to auto-water-change two separate aquaria of different sizes.

I'm confident I can work out the sensors and pumps, etc, however, I am unsure if the Profilux can handle two separate and pre-defined sequences.

Any help you can offer would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance,
Andrew

you can have up to 4 water-change setups

read about the options our automatic water change gives you in the manual (topic "level sensors")

Hi Matthias,

Thank you for your response.

Is this the manual to which you refer? http://support.aquariumcomputer.com/downloads/ProfiLux31all_Manual.pdf

I cannot find a "level sensors" topic in there.

Perhaps there is another manual I'm not aware of?

Thanks,
Andrew

Here you should find the chapter for level sensors:
