My sensor failed during a water change, so the pump kept emptying the sump. Luckily I have a max time set so it eventually stopped the whole process. But it never filled back up and then my ATO kicked on. Again, luckily I have a max on time for that too, so there wasn't any appreciable change in salinity. This has happened twice now, and I have tried soaking the float valve in vinegar and cleaning it.
So what I can't figure out, is if there is a way to have max on times for each part of the process. If I know it take 20 minutes to drain X amount of saltwater, I'd like to have an emergency cut-off of 25 or 30 mins, and then switch to fill.
Possible?
