pH probe 3 - 10,5

Hello,

two days ago my pH sensor crazy. Show ALARM and pH = 3. After calibration, in some moments is 3 but after 2 minute 10,5 and ALARM off course. What I can do? Is it possible that the module is faulty? I have profilux 3.1 N eX.
Can you please help me?

Sounds like the probe is dead. What are the calibration values (can be seen in the probe overview of PLC).

Value 1 - 7 pH ADC 1 1023
Value 2 - 9 pH ADC 2 1023

Both values are 1023 which is the limit of the ADC converter -> Probe is completely broken or the cable of the probe has a short or no contact (not sure about)

The ADC values of a good probe should be significantly different and far away from the limit (maybe 720 and 480 for example)

But in fact, normally it should not be possible to finish the calibration process with such a probe.

I put the probe to another pH controller. And..., Is OK! I put another probe (two times and two diferent probe) to Profilux, calibration and ADC are the same. Can be than pH module in Profilux is broken? Or some diferent?

It looks like that. Contact your dealer details about inspection/repair handling

Yes, Looks like you were unlucky.

But from what I have seen, the Profilux seems to have a far better reliability than most other electronic products.

Just hate it when it happens to you though!

This is true. And I think that will change as this module is now on everything will be OK!
