Hi All,
I want to share here my Reef tank with you all. I have invested in Profilux a few months ago and i am very pleased with the peace of mind i have with the units and the ease of some daily tasks i had.

DT Size : 90x50x55(h) – ~ 250 lt
Sump Size: 80x45x45(h)

Refugium Lamps
3 x 10W T4 Kengo Lamps (6400K)

Equipments
Controller: GHL Profilux 3.1N With ExpansionBox (pH,Temp,Redox,Conductivity)
Protein Skimmer: Bubble King Double Cone 180
Return Pump: AquaBee 2000/1
Circulation pumps: 3 x Tunze 6055, 1 x Tunze 6095 (Controlled by GHL)
Heater: 300W Jager
Chiller: GHL PropellerBreeze connected to Profilux.
ATO: Tunze Osmolator (will switch to GHL in near future when i can afford it :D)
Backup: 1.5KVA UPS for Profilux 3, 80Ah Battery for Tunzes
Reactors: Fish Street Zeovit Reactor (Follow the Zeovit Method)

Dosing
Major Elements by DIY Balling Method without mineral salts. Salts used are pharmaceutical grade. GHL controlled dosing pump (Alk,Ca,Mg)

Feeding
I feed the fish with a mix of pellets (NLS,Hikari,New Era)i home made seafood mix including various types of dried seaweeds.
Target feed the LPS corals with very finely chopped seafood mix once a week.

Thanks alot. I am seriously considering mitras over the tank. However the t5 gang (my friends) wont let me.

I probably will.. my only concern is due to rock placement some corals will not get enough light or will have hard shadows.

I am planning to upgrade the tank next summer so it might be a good test bed till then to try mitras.

Hello Matthias

I have ordered one mitras 6200 unit which i will get in a coupke of weeks when i am in Germany. Do you think with my current aquascaping and coral growth its enough or would i need a second one?
