they change the output to 100% only if they are currently in the active state, means: they are making waves at this moment

-> depends on the mode for this pump group

Not sure I understand mate, I'm playing with them ATM and have set them to run at 1% they are running full speed, iv never been happy that they are running properly from the off, this confirms it, if I unplug the cables in l1/l2 sockets, nothing happens

Still don't understand Matthias?, they are permanently on so when I hit the thunderstorm button on the touch, why does the touch not show the pumps at 100%, nothing happens??

I am thinking of adding a small pump with a spray bar controlled by a socket set to thunderstorm to add more movement to the tank during storm mode

just a shame we cant dim the mitras when we are in storm mode:(

I am planning to do something very similar in my next build. I saw a video of a HUGE tank that had an elaborate spray-bar system over it and incorporated it into their storm mode.

Hopefully the Mitras "can" be added into the storm scenario when the ProfiLux to Mitras interface becomes available.

Your pumps are set to Random - so they are not permanently on.
For a test let's set them to permanent and check if it works then.

I put both pumps onto perm, saved then hit the thunderstorm button on the touch, the pumps just carry on as if nothing has happened, ie., both pumps, same speed, alternating speed between max and min, max is set to 80%, min is set to 40%, speed at thunderstorm is set to 100%

Not wanting to sound rude but, why on earth dose it take so long to get an answer to problems regarding GHL products, why do I have to chase you guys for an answer all the time.

I've checked it, and it works without any problem.
ProfiLux-Firmware: V5.16
Touch-Firmware: V1.04

My Settings for the thunderstorm:
4729

Settings (and values at thunderstrom):
4728

Additional I've configured a socket activated during a thunderstorm.

If I hit thunderstorm at the ProfiLux-Touch the socket is switched on immediately and the waves rise to the maximum (100% for my settings).

Sorry for the confusion.
The V104 firmware is generally equal to V103.
It is a extended version to work with the ProfiLux Outdoor3.

For a test, you could assign a switch plug at a powerbar to thunderstorm.
If the thunderstorm is activated, the switch plug with the thunderstorm option is switched on.
With this you easy recognize, if a thunderstorm starts - independent on the pump settings and illumination settings.

I have tried this and it works with a powerhead plugged into the plugbar, however, I'm using Tunze 6105 pumps and in my pump settings, I have them set to 100% at thunderstorm so, when I hit the thunderstorm button, the pumps should go to 100% for the duration......they don't simple as.

This really dose need some attention guys please, as I have said before, it's a very expensive way to look at my probe readings and nothing else, it's over a year old with no updates.

I'm confused.
What do you mean with "it's over a year old with no updates". What is "it"?

With my setup, the thunderstorm starts, if I activate it at the touch.
If the thunderstorm starts, the pumps make sine waves with a max. at 100% (as you could see in my second picture), as configured.

Stupid idea: perhaps you don't setup the (correct) 1-10V interfaces for the pumps in System -> 1-10V interfaces?

Otherwise I'm running out of ideas.

Once again another thread removed in the great GHL fashion, and you call this support, where is the support in removing my posts, that's been around 4 you have removed now.

How about support by pm or at least an explanation if you won't give me support on your open forum

I've tested the thunderstorm and it works without any problem.

It seems you prefer to complain about the support, instead of answer my questions.

Therefore: Thread closed

summary:

1. we tested the thunderstrom for pumps on several systems - it works always perfect without any issue
2. no other customer ever reported that it would not work
-> we assume that the software is OK and there are wrong settings
3. instead of getting our questions answered we hear complaints about our support and polemics (
great GHL fashion, and you call this support)
4. threads/posts which are against our forum rules will be closed or deleted -> if a problem still exists a new thread needs to be opened
