Need help with programmable logic

I need help with programmable logic, I read so much on it but I just can't understand how it work and understand how to use it if any of you know how to plz share with me

hey i seen that but im not good at understanding it
wat im trying to do is. my skimmer is under programmble logic 2 / delay and when i push feed it shuts it off and delays it but i have set up a high level mark for when the water hits it it stop the skimmer but i just cant have both

i also have the level set up under level - ATO 1

PL is the one area I can't seem to wrap my head around. I get the hang of it when I'm working on one particular function and then I don't use it anymore for months. When I need to make changes I have to start all over how PL works and it really slows me down. I feel your pain but hopefully someone here can answer your question readily and get you going quickly.
