I am going to order profilux 3.1 N megaset and i want to control my leds with illumination program but i dont know which ledcontrol i need.
the tank has 300cm x 100cm footprint it needs about 300-400 3 watts leds . the leds need 3.2v at 700mA
i am planning to order 24 x Mean Well ELN-60-48P and 12 x Mean Well ELN-60-27P total 36 channels.
i can buy other drivers if it is needed
Profilux can control up to 32 i can union some of them no problem but the problem is
ledcontrol4passive
Max allowable difference in potential at the outputs: 24 V
Maximum current per channel: 12 mA
Number of Channels: 4
Input voltage range analog inputs: 0 V ... 10 V
PWM switching frequency: 200 Hz

Mean Well ELN-60-48P dimmable driver
0 ~ 1.3A current range
24-48V DC Voltage (runs ~8-14 LEDs)

But v and A doesn't enough to control only one of them
if it is possible to control with ledcontrol4 active i wont buy the drivers
if ledcontrol4passive or ledcontrol4active ok to control it has 4 channels so how i get 32 channels do you know the parts i needed ?
i don't need thunderstorm or wheather effects
i just want sunrise and sunset if it is also impossible i just want to connect to profilux
thx.......

But v and A doesn't enough to control only one of them

Nonsense. You are mixing passive controller (to control drivers like the meanwell) and active controllers (to drive LEDs directly).

However, you can use the LEDControl4 V2 which is the replacement and usable active & passive purposes with enhanced data for current and voltage.

It is able to drive a sum of max. 5A @ max. 48V, spreaded across four channels. So with a 48V power supply and one LEDControl4 V2 you can drive four rows of 15 LEDs @ 700mA (4x) independently. So for your system you need

1 power supply 48V for 24x 15 LEDs á 3W = 1080W (maybe splitted)
1 power supply 27V for 12x 7(8?) LEDs á 3W = 252W (288W)(maybe splitted)
9 LEDControl4 V2 (6x for 48V system / 3x for 27V system)
L-Ports, PLM-4L cards and splitters as needed

You need 2 L-sockets aka 4 cannels for a LEDControl4 V2, it´s possible to split a port to 3 units, so 6 ports aka 12 channels should be enough for the light.

For me this looks like a lot of work, maybe it´s an idea to have a look at the GHL Mitras

Thx for your reply
i changed my build
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
10 white-----10 white-------10 white-------10 white-------10 white
14 blue-------14 blue--------14 blue--------14 blue--------14 blue
6 others------6 others------6 others------ 6 others--------6 others
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
10 white-----10 white-------10 white-------10 white-------10 white
14 blue-------14 blue--------14 blue--------14 blue--------14 blue
6 others------6 others------6 others------ 6 others--------6 others
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
all leds 700mA 3,2v 3 watt each
i will control like this 20 white-28 blue-12 others . so 3 channels for each column
i will use led drivers for each of them
i will use led control4 passive x 4 = 16 channels
is it possible or i have to use more ?
i will buy plm-4L card and y2 cable but how many ?
how it is work ?
normally i have L1L2 and L2L3 with the PLM-4L i will have two more ports L6L7 and L8L9
i will plug y2 to L6L7 than i plug another y2 to the y2 on L6L7 than i have 3 L-ports on L6L7
and i will do the same for L8L9 port after that i can connect 3 ledcontrol4 and i will have 12 channels
but i need 15 how can it be done? can i use the L1L2and L3L4 at the same way
and 4 ledcontrol4passive is enough for this system if it is not suitable i can control block by block instead of column by column
than i need 30 channels.
if i cannot do that or too expensive just for some lighting effects
is it possible to control 3 channels -all whites- all blues and all others with profilux just dimming nad what is the simplest
thanks for your help
