ProfiLuxControl 5.1.6.0 not for Windows XP at the moment!

Now Microsoft suprised us (again): with the last update of Visual Studio 2012 (this is the software for developing ProfiLuxControl) the Windows XP-support has been removed!
It seems Microsoft is already terminating the XP-support.

Result: The current PLC 5.1.6.0 runs only on Vista or higher.

-> if you still use XP you should stay at 5.1.5.4 for the moment

we hope that Microsoft releases soon a hotfix to solve this issue

Would you not test these updates before they are released? Seems common sense and would cause far less issues for users, as of late there has been many problems.

we didn't expect that the minor changes in ProfiLuxControl cause a platform compatibility issue

actually the current problem has nothing to do with the changes in ProfiLuxControl, it was caused by the latest Microsoft Update

even a test wouldn't have changed anything - there is no solution at the moment

but you are right, especially the unexpected things happen, so a test gave at least a warning for XP-users
