iOS v1.01 - iPAD 1

The new version of the iOS app has been released but cannot be used on older iOS devices as it is listed in the App store as requiring iOS v6.1.
In my example the V1.00 release installed on my iPad 1 with iOS 5.1.1 (but has "no response from device" issue).

Was it a deliberate choice to exclude older equipment or was this an oversight?
If its just an oversight and you can publish an update that will allow older iOS versions I would ask that you do so.
The following link shows how to do this in older xcode 4.2.1 rather than xcode 4.6.1 (current) but hopefully its similar or the same.

Same here, on holiday now and can't connect via the 1.00 on iPad 1 but now can't update to 1.01.....very sad :(

Version 1.02 supports iOS 5.0

Denis, "supports" suggest current tense. Has it already been submitted to the App store for certification? If so, what is the change log between 1.01 and 1.02? (Anything additional to resolve connectivity issues?)

I think Is better to get several persons like a beta testers before you put new release...
It's simple to check all options of this application in 5-10minutes.

I have updated to app version 1.01 on iphone5 and ipad2 both with latest Apple iOS and on both devices it works fine (local & outside network)!
GHL Txs for all support....

I have Ipad one and apple will not let me get the app it says that ios has to be 6 the most update is 5.1.1

My software is iOS 6.1.3 and up to date iPhone5 but still no connection :confused:

Can everyone not using an iPAD 1 please not confuse the issue, This thread is about the iPAD 1 with iOS app
There are other threads that deal with "no connection" issues specifically and it would be better to post in those especially if you are using newer iPAD's or iPhones.

I don't mean to have a go at anyone, but it just makes it confusing to read and I would like to keep this on topic if possible.

Version 1.02 supports iOS 5.0

Has this version been submitted to Apple as yet, or is it still in the works?

Version 1.02 supports iOS 5 and landscape mode. It also includes improved sensor-data function with better performance. This version has already been submitted.

the app store still has version 1.01, you need to wait until version 1.02 as DenisO has indicated above.

The version 1.02 release is now in the app store and installed on the iPad 1 fine.

Now I can work on the odd character problem and then hopefully that will be all that is stopping me from connecting.
