View Full Version : help with a couple of minor problems
the lightning effect seems very bright i have the brightness at 10 and intensity at 1 but it still lights up the whole room when it is in storm mode,
I cant seem to down load the cofig from the lamp I click update veiw but it does not downolad the settings to control centre,
when do the moon lights come on? I have all lights set to zero from 10pm and moonlights set from 10pm to 6 am but the light unit stays with all leds off, the royal Blue leds have the simulation box checked
Thanks in advance

then set the brightness to 1 and work up from there

if you are talking about the lighting program you are running, you have to load it up once you have opened the mitras cc

what is the current moon simulation, if it is no moon, then you won't get any lighting

Pop up a screen shot Gino,

thanks for the reply
the lowest setting on the lightning is 10
I am talking about transfering all the settings from the lamp to the pc
the current moon simulation is about 20% but the current moon phase box is completly black
not sure how you post a screen shot to this forum

"update view" - this works
did you click "save changes" before in order to transmit the settings to the lamp?

I think this is set up right the lights at night seem to be on a constant brightness, all the display shows all the lights at 0% even when the moon is full
this is the settings for the lightning it is way to bright at the minute

moonlights come on at default 6pm if you go through all illumination channels deselect the simulation tab on the channels that are activated, typically the blue
all I have checked is the simulation tick box in the royal blues is that correct?
also my longitude and latitude keep resetting back to default 0.1
I noticed in the night setting you have simulation on at 10pm(22) and ending at 12 noon. that is if you are using 24 hr clock

As abve Your settings are 22.00 on and 12.00 therefore your moonlight is 14 hours long could this be a problem?
also my longitude and latitude keep resetting back to default 0.1
I also have this problem, if they keep resetting to default, how can the moon phase work?
Love to get the answer on this guys please
Gazz
not sure what you mean. The software (profilux control) will always go to default untill connected. Also did you save the settings to the mitras then it will be in the controller on the mitras..

This is the mitras section, we are not talking about profilux control
sorry I should of said GHL control center( software for the mitras)
Sorry, right, when the longdatude and latitude are set to my house, then saved and updated, the next time I connect to the lamp, they have both reset to 1, now, my question is, if this is happening like it is, how does the mitras know what the moon phase is.
As is happening, the lunar cycle can't run properly as the lamp has no reference point to work to surely.

longitude and latidude are not used at all at the moment, this is for future simulation functions
this does not affect the moon phase calculation!
because the moon phase (full ... new) is the same all over the world
ok, is there anyone that can post some screenshots of a typical light run to include moonlighting as a few of us are still seeing problems in this area, i have all but given up on moon lighting and just run a blue at 2%, but i would like to use the moonlight function as it is there to be used.
or better still, could someone please email me a copy of their program where the working moonlight is a definate.
nobody using moonlights:confused:

GazzMan,
I think most Mitras owners are using the moon light
it is really simple:
1. define the illumination run for the royal blue - over the day and at a lower brightness for the night
2. set check mark "moon phase" for royal blue
3. check if the moon simulation parameters match - here: start and end time according to moon rise and moon set for your royal blue
Matthias,
So for example.
Royal Blue, Normal day run, at 11PM, we set this channel to 5% until 6am. Tick Moon Phase for Royal Blue. When its a Full Moon, Royal Blue will be 5% from 11PM until 6am, first and last quarter (half moons) Royal Blue will run at 2.5%, New Moon 0% etc?
Yep think iv got it, just waiting for the moon to come back lol
Gazz
right I think I have it moonlights set from 10am till 4am
blue light ramps up from 21:50 0% to 22:00 3% and then back to 0% at 4am with simulation box checked all other simulation boxes unchecked4628
does this sound right?

Can you also please post a screenshot of the simulation page, please?

Hello,
the only things that I found out are:
-you set the moon phase start to 22:00, but according to your dimming curve, it starts already at 21:00.
-> Please change it to 21:00 accordingly
-you programmed blue instead of Royal Blue as Matthias suggested
Everything else seems to be correct.
