there is a new version from 03. Jan. 2013:

- also available for ProfiLux II
- only change for P3 compared to the previous 5.15: automatic reset of the LAN connection after 5 minutes receiving no data
-> I hope the connection problems a few users reported can be solved - your feedback is welcome

It looks like this upgrade has introduced another bug. I have cyclic email notifications enabled via Profilux (Mailing Condition = Always, Send Interval = 6) and when the Profilux Control software is not connected to the device, the device is sending email notifications out every 5 minutes.

I have a Profilux 3ex for reference and running ProfiluxControl 5.1.5.1

thanks for the hint, Jason

it seems that the LAN auto reset also restarts the mailing cycle - will be checked and fixed today

we fixed the email bug (emails sent periodically after automatic LAN-reset)

the new version 5.15 from today is available in our download section

I upgraded to the new version and still had the "connection reset" problem.

Other than that I can't see any problems with the new FW.

I thought I posted this here as well but I guess not..

I started tinkering in the PLC and went into "Connections". I created a new one identical to my existing one (TCP/IP) and changed the timeout from 1000 to 20000 which seemed to at least help. I tinkered around with it for over 30 minutes and didn't get a single disconnect.

I'm having a problem since upgrading to 5.15 on my PII Plus EX. If I reboot the Profilux, I can connect via LAN no problem. However, if I disconnect & try to reconnect a few minutes later it cannot be found. PLC is the latest version. Changing the timeout as per above doesn't help. It will not connect unless I reboot the PII.

It seems I can access the LAN firmware by entering the IP into a web browser for a bit longer than my PII works, but even that stops finding the PII. I've already flashed & reinstalled the firmware with no change.

When I try to access it with Reef Status, I get an error saying "Cannot connect the target actively refused the connection". Not sure if that helps.

When i loaded firmware 5.15 i noticed that the level inputs do not show on the display screen. has anybody else noticed this?
I have two profilux and both do not show the level inputs on the display so it must be a bug in firmware 5.15.

The display content for the level inputs have changed.
But this was not changed in firmware 5.15, it was changed in an earlier version.
