One day for no good reason
This has happened:
Alarm set to just new - is the first SMS I get when there is a power cut (never did before)
How ever a power cut set to just new is arriving when the power returns?
Any idea why is this happening?
Thanks

Are all the led lights on the front working? Do you have a signal?
If not I would try disconnecting--power off and on.
I have gone thru that once and I solved it like that.

Yes, sorry I also do not fully understand your problem.....
Are you saying that you get an alarm msg sent to you when there is a power cut?

I'm saying the SMS module works. But it send thous SMS not when it spouse to, like power cut when power return rather then just new, as programed.

I think this is the question:

You get more than 1 SMS when an event happens although the settings are correct, right?

Maybe the power returned several times?

Do this test:

unplug the SMS-unit - plug it in again - how many SMS do you receive?

This is the Q:
Alarm that is set to just now is arriving at just over and vise verse. I did not change a thing and it used to work fine before. The question is why? And how to go back?

Did you get this resolved?

No I did not. I changed all settings from just over to just new and other way around, delete alarm. Saved, turned off turned on changed all setting again… and still alarm like power cut is sending when it's just over rather than just new and so on.
Hopefully in the next fw…

Is it possible for you to reinstall the latest firmware again onto the SMS module and reset pab, reassign devices, etc if it is a pab SMS module.....I would suggest you have a backup of all your p3 settings before doing things like this....

we tried this with SMS-PAB and the newest Firmware, Version 3.02 - all works as expected, no bugs

-> please tell me
- is this a PAB or standard-version
- the actual firmware version of the SMS-unit

Thanks Matthias.

It's a standard one running fw 2.1

ok, I test it again on a standard with 2.01

ok, here are the testing results:

the standard SMS-unit with firmware 2.01 works correctly:

1.) I get the "power failure" SMS when power cut just happened

2.) I get the "power is back" SMS when power is back

tested with these settings:

Use to be the same for me as we'll.
I think it all went wrong when all I did was to uncheck send all info with alarm I don't have nearly enough characters any way…

Should I install 3.01?
Do I need to unplug every thing else when I do?
