Hi, I have a Deltec Microreef, 100cm x 50cm x 45cm curently with mainly LPS and the odd SPS....I will be upgrading next year to 180cm tank and would like to know if a single Mitras would give me enough coverage until I upgrade and add two more? The light could be suspended at any height above the tank. Thanks, Andy

It really depends on SEVERAL factors (layout, height above water, desired intensity etc)

but in VERY general terms a single Mitras (at 69cm max depth) would cover 80cm x 53cm taking directly from the factory specs.

One word to note.. actual Mitras users are reporting the units are OUT PERFORMING those specs. That's a WIN WIN!

Depending on coral placement etc you very well might be able to get away with a single unit especially if you have low-light coral that can be placed in the outer fringes of the tank. This is just my own personal opinion and in no way is a direct endorsement from GHL.
