Hi All,
Good morning, I’m running a ProfiLux 3ex with a power bar 6 D-D. But I’m in need of another one. Is it possible to someone clarifying me about the differences between the normal digital powerbar and the PAB 6 power bar? The same goes for the powerwub what I can do exactly with him. This questions may look silly but I would like to clarify this prior spend the money.

Thanks’ in advance
Pedro

The differences are:

the normal Powerbar-6D can not be updated, it is connected to an S-Port of PLII(ex) or PL3(ex)

This is what the Powerbar-6D-PAB and the the Powerhub-6D-PAB (which is a PAB-Powerbar without sockets in general) more than the digital one:

Current measurement (starting from firmware 5.05) for every socket
Up to 64 sockets (instead of 24/48 for digital bars)
Cable lenght up to 100m between two devices, normal Powerbar up to 10m max.
ProfiLux is able to recognize a PAB device failure (Error in device or cable)
device is able to go into a preset failsafe state if the Profilux doesn´t sent commands
Firmware can be updated via PAB
easier wiring - all devices are wired in a daisy-chain
