Control from Expansion Box location

Does anyone manage more than one tank with their Profilux?

I have a reef inside with a PIII Ex and a startup breeding setup outside.
Im finding that I spend quite a bit of time comming inside to enable feed pauses, perform water changes/maintance etc from the front pannel.

I was thinking of either using an PLC-ADIN digital input with some buttons or the Touch. Im not sure if its acheivable though.

This would have to be workable from an expansion box (PLC-ADIN in the Expansion box) to be practical

Does anyone else have any suggestions or methods that they use?

I don't have a expansion box currently, so can't offer direct comparisons.
But from what I can see you should be able to use a digital signal from a push button switch that you could then do some programmable logic on, to intitiate the feeding pause you want for a particular tank?
